ReLift – Combination Therapy as an Adjunctive Protocol

In a conversation with Kara Moncrief, Viora’s US Clinical Director, Dr. Man discusses the pioneering adjunct protocol he has integrated with his neck lift surgery patients. Dr. Man’s cosmetic plastic surgery practice, located in Boca Raton, Florida, has been working with Viora devices for many years. When asked about his success he said, “There are many success stories because of Viora.”
In particular, Dr. Man has been pre-treating patients in the weeks leading up to their neck lift surgery to enhance the results by addressing some of the issues that may persist after such a procedure. When removing volume from the neck, loose or lax skin can still be present. Dr. Man explains his technique for treatment.
core-cut“We were able to bring in Viora’s CORE technology to help achieve a better result in the liposuction of the neck. After surgery, there was still some volume in the neck and loose skin. CORE technology enabled us to precondition the skin of the submental, which led to dramatically improved results. Additionally, immediately after surgery, while still under local anesthesia, we used the ST handpiece to further increase the procedure’s efficacy, and the final results were so much better.”
By using Viora’s proprietary CORE technology, Dr. Man was able to specifically target the problem areas by remodeling collagen and connective tissues via radiofrequency. This energy forces the tissue to react and “rebuild,” shrinking the skin for a tighter look and feel.
